Craft for a Cure – Rasing money for Blood Cancer UK on Friday 18^th September, 10am – 12pm, during Rest Stop Café at St John’s and also at ‘Sunday Afternoon in the Link’ on Sunday 20^th September, 2 – 4pm. There will be simple crafts for everyone, including jewellery making.

Sunday Afternoon in the Link – Sunday 20^th September 2 – 4pm. Games, refreshments and chat with others. Come long! Craft for a Cure will also be running.

Harvest Festival – All Saints will be celebrating harvest on 27^th September. Decorating church will be on Friday 25^th Sept from 2pm, all help welcome. Donations towards the cost of flowers can be left in the office or with one of the ‘flower girls!’ Any berries, greenery, dried flower heads etc would be great. Celia Cullen.

All Saints Harvest Lunch – Sunday 27^th September at 12.30pm in the Centre. Bring your own picnic! Tea and coffee will be served.

Our Love Prayers and Sympathy – to the family of Sybil Wetton. The funeral will be on Monday 28^th September at 1.45pm at St John’s, followed by committal at Markeaton Crematorium at 3pm.

Midweek Matinee – Wednesday 30^th September at 2pm in the All Saints Centre. Come along to watch Florence – With the help of her husband, Florence Foster Jenkins, a socialite in 1940s New York City, tries to achieve her dream of becoming an opera singer despite having a terrible singing voice. £5 entry which includes theatre snacks.

Our Love Prayers and Sympathy – to the family of Jim Collyer. The celebration of Jim’s life will be at St John’s on Wednesday 30^th September at 2.30pm following on from a family only service at the crematorium.

CTiM Prayer Walk – Thursday 1^st October at 10-15am. Meeting at junction of Cavendish Way, and Uttoxeter Road. We will walk for about an hour in the area, praying God’s blessing upon the people and businesses in this area, and listening to God’s Holy Spirit as we go. If you are unable to walk but willing to pray, join with others at St. John’s Devonshire Drive. Beetle Drive & Themed Quiz! – Saturday 3^rd October at 6.30pm at All Saints Centre. Come along for a fun evening with a quiz and beetle drive. £5 each, light refreshments included. Teams of 4. Don’t worry if you don’t have a team, let us know, there will be others that you can make a team with on the day.

Derby Choral Union Autumn Fayre – Saturday 3^rd October 10am – 2pm at St John’s. Cakes, preserves, tombola, cooks, honey, puzzles, sweets and more.

Messing About with Notes – Sunday 4^th October at 2pm at St John’s. Join Toad and Stephen Johns for some organ and piano music and a ‘singalong’, exploring how exactly music works. Entry £6, refreshments will be served.

Harvest at St John’s – Sunday 11^th October at 10am. If you would like to bring harvest goods to be given to Derby Food 4 Thought, please see the list of needs.

Craft & Tabletop Sale – 17^th October at St John’s, 10am-1pm. Lots of stalls including a wide range of crafts, books and jigsaws. Refreshments throughout. Free entry.

Joint Christians Together Service Sunday 18^th October – hosted by Mickleover Methodist Church at 6.30pm followed by refreshments.

Matt Barnes Questionnaire – Following on from Matt Barnes’ talk at the All Saints service last week, there is a questionnaire at the back of church. Please pray and jot down some notes for the PCC and put it in the box at the back of church.
