Fridays:	St John’s Rest Stop Café 10am – 12pm in the Link.

Notices

Coffee Morning – in aid of Breast Cancer Now during the Rest Stop Café at St John’s on 14^th August 10am-12pm. Come along for delicious cakes, biscuits and a cuppa!

Makers Market – Saturday 15^th August 10am – 3pm at All Saints Church and Centre. Come along to our first ever Makers Market with various stalls selling hand crafted goods including jewellery, engraved glass, bath, body and home products, pebble and driftwood art, artisan food, crochet/knitted items, wax melts and candles, cards, refreshments and much more.

Sunday Afternoons in the Link – Sunday 16^th August in the Link at St John’s from 2 – 4pm. Come for games or even just a chat! Refreshments available.

St Johns-on-Sea Café and Fish & Chip Lunch – Enjoy a few hours of escapism at St John’s Hall on Friday 21^st August during Rest Stop Café from 10am. Hot food will be served from 12.30pm – 2pm. The café is open as usual. There will also be a quiz and Bingo! Hot food (£6) and must be ordered in advance, please complete a form from the back of St John’s or collect one from the office and return it to Karen Cowgill or the office. Everyone welcome.

Alpha – Christian Basics Course. From 9^th September (7pm Wednesday evenings) we are hosting a new Alpha course on behalf of Christians Together in Mickleover at All Saints. Speak to Peter if you are interested 07725740407.

Paint a ‘Something’ – Sunday 13^th September from 2 – 4pm at St John’s Hall. Enjoy a relaxing afternoon painting bags, hats, stones, pots and more. £6 on the door, refreshments included.

Box Hedge by Memorial – thank you to everyone who came to All Saints to help cut the box hedge down. The hedge might recover but if when you are walking past you can pull up some ivy that is currently strangling the base of the hedge, you would be very welcome. We will monitor the hedge before deciding whether to remove it completely.
