Temporary Help Needed – Our wonderful Centre cleaner at All Saints has, unfortunately had to resign. We thank her for her sterling work. Our new cleaner will be ‘in post’ later in the summer. Until then we are in need volunteers to clean the centre at various times during the week. The ‘full clean’ takes around 1hr 20mins (I’ve timed it several times!) The job description is on the table at the back of church or in the office. Times: Sat/Sun afternoon; Tuesday before 10am; Wednesday afternoons (excl 4th Wed); alternate Friday afternoons before 5pm. If you are able to help, please speak to Rebekah or the Wardens (James and Janice). Thank you.

Churchyard Help Needed – With the mix of wet and warm weather, the grass in the All Saints churchyard is growing quickly. We will not have help from the Payback Team for a few weeks so we would really appreciate a few volunteers to help maintain the churchyard during this time. If you are able to help, please speak to either Rebekah in the office or James 07966533537. Thanks.

Free Wood – A quantity of freshly hewn oak and ash is available free. Logs, chunks, a small table-top slice and more. Suitable for wood-burners, wood carvers, gardens, bug hotels etc. Anne and Stephen Johns 07952 503001

Strawberry tea with Trev’s Trio – Thank you to everyone who came along and enjoyed the music and tea last Sunday afternoon. Thanks also to our highly efficient team of helpers. After expenses £113 was raised for St John’s.  We are planning a return visit by Trev and colleagues next January.

Our Love Prayers and Sympathy – to the family of Ivy Johnson. The funeral will be on Monday 29th June at All Saints at 12.30pm followed by committal at Nottingham Rd.

DCMVC at St Andrew’s – Thank you to everyone who attended the concert at St Andrew’s on 5th June. An amazing £1, 004.12 was raised for church funds. A big thank you to Diana for organising the event.
